During the winter of 2021/22 we carried out a validation study to establish the accuracy of TöltSense’s gait classification. We found there to be better than 99% agreement between TöltSense and a panel of four independent qualified sport judges. Freija rides a 5 gait test with Ljóri while TöltSense records all his movements. I’ve replayed the session and combined the videos to produce this demo. Note that when the voice talks about ‘susp’ in tolt this is ‘front suspension’ (F.susp). In trot, pace and canter ‘sus’ is the full suspension.
